The Dragon's Nest was a specialty toy store. We were located in historic downtown Newburyport, and served the North Shore and the Seacoast since opening in 1982 and closing in 2020.

 

We carried the very best quality products - items to stimulate the mind, challenge the imagination and promote creativity and fun - items to enrich a childhood no matter the age. We also carried fun novelties, games and puzzles for kids and adults.

 

The store was founded by Martin and Donna Seim in 1982. After retiring, Martin and Donna passed control and ownership to their daughter Kristin, who operated the store until January of 2014. It was then owned and operated by Sally Owen.
